There are certain perks to being in education. One of those has to be built in time off. It’s not a certain amount per year (I can’t imagine going back to only have two weeks off a year!) Let’s just say, when I say perks, I really mean well-deserved-worked-my-butt-off-for-this built in perks. Either way, teaching internationally I feel like you are almost expected to travel on every break. Staying home is not an option, “staycations” don’t exist. So this year, for my first spring break abroad Tall Girl Travels is going to BALI, Indonesia! I could tell you the series of events that brought me to the conclusion of going to Bali, but I won’t bore you with the details. In one week I will be going to Ubud, and Lombok, Indonesia. I will be exploring, getting pampered with spa treatments, fun drinks, and a new culture and history. I am excited to get out of Tokyo for a week and enjoy the sun, the food, and the new people I am going to meet. I may even catch up on my blog writing. I may have not posted in two months, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t done any new exploring! Sometimes those pesky full time jobs get in the way, you know?
