Kelly has been traveling since she can remember, first with books and media, then her first trip to Mexico in 1998. Enamored by the sights, sounds, and colors, she was hooked and has been planning her next trip ever since.

I’m inspired by art, food, and walkability. I’m always up for a new adventure and I’ll go pretty much anywhere. Every place should be explored, and I’ve definitely planned trips around specific meals I want to have. I pick the places that I go based on what kind of connection I need or how I want to feel. I am fabulous at a beach holiday, when I need some down time and want space to dream and find inspiration. I also love a good walkable city where I can walk and stop, exploring local life through my two feet.

Economical luxury. I love fancy places, but my wallet does not. I do my best to balance budget travel with luxury. I play the points and miles game, check multiple booking sites, and travel almost exclusively in the off season. I stick to a reasonable budget, and will splurge on very expensive meals, then you’ll find me with my reusable bag packing a sandwich for a picnic.

You’ll find places to connect with the culture and places that inspire a good story. Coffee shops to relax and work, restaurants that are memorable and have excellent food, parks to stroll around and take a sandwich, craft shops with locally made items, and I love a good quirky museum.

Everywhere and everyone deserves to explored. Travel can be transformative with the right experiences and mindset. I want to help everyone gain new perspectives and immerse themselves in an alternate culture to learn about themselves and others.

Brennan’s travel superpower is he can immediately connect with anyone anywhere no matter the language (except for Spanish and English which he’s fluent in). An environmental warrior, you’ll find a reusable water bottle attached to his hand at all times and always learns how to say “no plastic straw” in whatever the local language is. Brennan will never stop traveling the world and supports Tall Girl Travels as the cocktail and nightlife expert. Brennan is also one of the 3 Kings, a group in pursuit of finding the world’s best cocktails and adventures.

I’m inspired by beautiful, strange, artistic scenery and nature. In my downtime I like to doodle and make art which is often inspired by my experiences. You’ll find expansive panoramas on my photo stream and pictures of me in sunglasses because I can’t help but want to be outside. Because of my love of nature, I’m also inspired by beautiful and delicious cocktails from local ingredients and spirits. Mixology is an art, and I’m curious to see others' points of view and creations.

Local and sustainable. I love a mountain lodge with nature right outside the door, but I can also sit on a beach chair reading a book. What matters is that I get to know the local culture and what they’d normally do, not what the tourists would do. I’m not afraid to get lost, as I know there is always someone who is willing to help.

You’ll find places with the best owners, there is nothing that I like more than getting to know the people behind the establishments. You’ll find places to explore the outdoors, local markets, and picturesque buildings with hidden gems inside. Food is always at the top of my list, and obviously a good drink pairing.

Travel is about people and finding how they express themselves. Whether that’s through the next great cocktail, or letting the waves of the ocean wash over your feet in the sand, it’s your time to figure out how to be your best self and learning who you are.
